Platinum and Sapphire Old Mine Dinner Ring
In days past, dinner rings were traditionally large and ornate, meant to be worn on special occasions. Well after this year, we say every day is a special occasion. Made in the 1930s, this intricate platinum number is bold and beautiful, yet impossibly delicate. Milgrain detailing and florid cut-outs give the face of this ring a feminine air, while old mine-cut diamonds and bright blue sapphires add deep, high-contrast sparkle.
Please note, this is a one-of-a-kind piece that has been inspected and cleaned, but its history means that it may have signs of wear from its previous owner(s). Any scratches or marks should be considered a part of its unique origin. All sales of estate jewelry are final.
Platinum setting with blue sapphires and three old mine cut diamonds (I/J color, VS/SI clarity) totaling 0.33 carat. Dated circa 1930.
